I suppose I should have labeled it "anticipating summer" as these are a picture I took Last May. Mine are still budding too. This neighbors yard just makes me swoon when these are blooming.
Love that color! The ones in my yard are boring cream color and don't usually open till July. I was once told that their color has to do with the pH of the soil. You either got it right or got lucky.
I love hydrangeas and those are spectacular! Mine are just starting to leaf out, so I have a while to wait for the beautiful blooms. Thanks for sharing the photo, Lyric!
