Beautiful photos! I love the big fuzzy bees — they look almost pettable. I have a similar camera and I've taken numerous photos of my garden bees, but I don't think I get such spectacular results.
My camera is a Cannon Powershot S3IS. Old – so it only has 6mp but it has 12x optical zoom and super-macro. Kind of a high end point and shoot. I'm lusting after an SLR but we have tuition looming soon on the horizon so I'm holding off.

May 3, 2011 at 5:10 pmI love these bee closeups! I love watching bees when they are heavy with pollen. Big fuzzy yellow legs. So amazing. I need a better camera!

I love the macro on my camera too. It is so nice to see the fine details in life.
