    I'll try to expand on these for you – but can't promise a time. This month will be dedicated to my new DVD…. fun stuff.

    Congrats Sharon.

    Lyric, I'm fascinated by the design question of how to create an art quilt with a strong horizon or viewpoint line. I find that all my little art quilts and sketches look like they are 'floating' in space.

    The only way I have of creating a horizon line is the childhood drawing of two lines curving downward for two hills and a valley. I would love a tutorial or some exercises on how to play around with different ways of anchoring my quilt design.
