Travel: Springfield B&B in Hertford, NC

The lovely ladies at the Colonial Quilt Guild put me up in the Springfield B&B. One word. Charming. It’s a big old farm house with lots of wonderful gardens.

There seemed to be a perfect deluge every time I stepped out the door and the lovely proprietor insisted I take her rain coat for the day, for which I am very grateful.

I loved it most because of the purple bike in the side yard of course. Purple and lime green. I call that combination my happy colors. And yes, the bed was comfy and the breakfast delicious! Can’t ask for more than that.
