December 8, 2013 at 5:51 pmHi from New Zealand!
Lyric, I thoroughly enjoyed watching your segment on the Quilt Show! I feel inspired to re activate my quilting! I became a tad bored with the traditional, and when our local Quilt Supply store closed tucked everything away. Paint and paper became my medium. But now I am off to explore my fabric stash and create with texture, shape, line, colour, value and beads!
Thank you.

December 8, 2013 at 10:07 amLyric, I adored the info before the show was available. It made watching the snow even more enjoyable. I’ll keep my eyes open if you are ever in the Cleveland area, I’d love to take a class from you. I enjoy the thermofax screens I have purchased from you too. 🙂
Happiest of holidays, Christina in Cleveland

December 5, 2013 at 10:15 pmHI Lyric, I just watched you on The Quilt Show. You were so much fun to watch. I love to play and try things with surface design, and texture. It has been a few years since art classes for me, but I was waiting to see if you mentioned visual texture. When I painted, that was a very important part of my work. Thank you so much for sharing your talent, your passion and your love of fiber art with us.

December 3, 2013 at 4:46 amHi Lyric,
I throughly enjoyed your interview and your wonderful way how you have developed your form of screen printing using the thermofax on The Quilt Show. For me I loved your brief theory lesson on texture colour, value etc. I did take some notes for future reference but I will be watching the show again just in case I missed out on something important. I may consider in the new year getting your book to learn more. My favorite section was your beading embellishment, I too incorporate beadings and other embellishments into my quilts when appropriate. I was very intrigued with the thread you were using and the needles you use. I learnt something very important during your segment and that is I need a better thread to ensure my beading won’t come undone!!!!! Are they available on your site or could you give me directions to where I might purchase some for a trial. I live in Adelaide, South Australia and absolutely love the Quilt Show. I have decided as I enjoyed your show to get your blogs and have already made your site a favourite so that I can see what you have been doing in the hope of learning some more from you.
Well I want to wish you and your family a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year. Julie Beard. http://www.julie714@adam.com.au
