At 9pm tonight Eastern Standard Time I’m going to bid on at least three quilts in the auction that will benefit Libby Lehman. I’m terribly excited that you have been generous enough to donate $3,000 so far. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we were able to get all the way to 5k!?!? Or even to 4K so I could bid on all four of the quilts that have yet to get a bid!?!?

Of course if you have $1-5k you can go bid on a quilt yourself. Or you can donate here and get your name in the hat. Every bid will count. The quilts will travel until the spring in exhibition then go to their new owners.
Every donation over $25 will be gifted an archival print of one of my artworks. (If you have a favorite – let me know! I haven’t even started thinking about which piece to have prints made of. And yes, I realize that was a grammatically terrible sentence.)

Buying the beautiful quilts, Libby the Quilter and Carnival for Libby, was such a wonderful gift to my sister, Libby. I cried when Clara Lawrence explained to me how you raised the funds in order to make these auction purchases possible. And all of that on top of creating and donating your FABULOUS quilt, Interlocking. (One of my personal favorites!) Because of you, all of the quilts in the auction were sold! BRAVO!
How can we ever thank you for your generosity and kindness?!! Because of the success of the auction, Libby will be able to have much more therapy than would have been possible otherwise. Each of you has helped Libby have a better quality of life. Thank you for following her recovery on CaringBridge.org/visit/libbylehman.
