I have a choice to make that perhaps you can help me with. You know I’m participating in Virginia Spiegel’s fundraising campaign and will be donating one work of art. It will be randomly given to one of the 100 patrons who will donate 1k to the fight against Cancer.
Which one of these piece would you love to receive if you were one of the 100 patrons?
Worlds Away
8″ x 10″ x 2″, mixed media, fiber, paint dye, thread
Tiny Galaxy
8″ x 10″ x 2″, mixed media, fiber, paint dye, thread, beads, glass
(this piece is one of my favorites!)
TELL ME WHICH ONE YOU WOULD CHOOSE

December 20, 2014 at 1:45 amI like the second piece, “Tiny Galaxy”. The markings in the stone look like a little world. I like the way your beading and even the canvas treatment echo the other-worldly look of the stone.

December 15, 2014 at 1:51 pmI agree with Janice. Both are beautiful and I too prefer Worlds Away. I think it is the extension onto the canvas that tips it for me.
