Sometimes things happen that you don’t expect. Like being invited to appear in the inaugural podcast created by the powerhouse Quilting Arts duo of Susan Brubaker Knapp and Vivika DeNegre. What an honor. Either that or they knew I was game to try something that might or might not work out and I’m always willing to let my mouth run on. (To ease your mind, this photo is a couple years old – pre-covid – wear your masks people!)

After some tech issues – because there are ALWAYS tech issues (in this case power going out in half a town RIGHT as we were all set up and ready to record!) we settled into a really lovely conversation. These are two women with bright, kind, and generous souls. I’ve never been in their presence without coming away feeling better and happier.

The three of us sat down (remotely – each in our own homes) to chat about Covid, Creativity, and especially the WHY behind what we as quilt artists do. This episode was recorded back in June, months into the shutdown due to the Covid pandemic but with months to go.
