Organizing Art and Quilt Show Entries

October 24, 2022

Keeping in theme with the ideas of organization this month, I thought I’d flash back to an older post in a series about entering your quilts into shows. I was looking back and WOW – I’ve written a LOT of posts about the subject.

I assume a lot of you come here looking for the Calls for Entry list, right? It’s still worth me putting time into it? (Sometimes I wonder…. should I keep going with it?)

If you are entering your art quilts into showsIt’s important to keep your dates and quilts clearly organized. Show organizers aren’t happy if they accept your quilt into their carefully curated exhibit then you withdraw because you forgot it was promised elsewhere. Think about it. You’ve taken a slot someone else could have had.
