And a little bit of that….
It’s been ages since I’ve paid attention here. How are you? Well I hope? I would just say I’ve been super busy but I’m looking back on my adult life and can’t find a time when that wasn’t the case. Actually – thinking of my teen years – same. I used to play in so many different musical groups that I had performances pretty much every weekend.
Then it was kids. Five over the years – toddlers at home for 18 years. That’s a very long time. Right now I feel like an empty nester with only one at home and that one plays in so many musical groups that…. it’s like de ja vu.
It’s super rare for more than one or two of them to be here at the same time. For those of you who followed the journey with Big E’s motorcycle wreck; he’s doing well and will have front teeth again by the end of the month.
These days I spend most of my time at my computer. Between the Global Quilt Connection, the Academy for Virtual Teaching, and the Lyric.Art everyday art school, I’m teaching teaching teaching and not making many things. That’s OK because I LOVE what I’m doing.
So a quick review of the summer:
Taught in Riverton Wyoming for their state quilt symposium.
Taught in the Seattle area and took extra time there to see family.
I think I’ll put together some posts showing you some of the amazing things I got to see and telling you more about the really fun teaching I’ve been doing.
