Just a very quick post for today’s giveaway.
Here is a peak at the progress on the two concurrent pieces I’m working on.
I’m still going back and forth between the two, working on one while I think about what to do next with the other.
Today’s giveaway is an extra copy I have of Quilting Arts Magazine issue #64. (I have an article in it.)
Leave a comment letting me know why you read this blog.
Specifically – what do you want to see more of?
I’ll pick a winner next saturday.
(And congratulations to Rosalyn who won Valerie Goodwin’s book, Art Quilt Maps!)

December 18, 2013 at 6:31 pmI read your blog primarily because you have so much positive energy that just comes right through. Also, I thoroughly enjoy seeing your work – sharing is always inspiring. And I like to learn new methods and ways of looking at things. The artist spotlights are great too. I don’t know that I would recommend any changes, unless to add some video which would be cool to hear you and see you in action. Thanks

December 16, 2013 at 10:33 amI always love your unique vision. You are one of the very few instructors who actually teach about the principles and elements. I would love to see short, quick comments about your artwork or art from others referencing an element or a principle, so we can begin to train our eye and see where that may lead us. Don’t need the magazine, so please pass it on to the next person in the drawing!

December 16, 2013 at 12:13 amI’m with Sophie who commented above, keep doing what you’re doing. I read your blog to open my eyes and to learn to stretch myself. My quilting has been more traditional and I love seeing all the art that can be made with fabric. I want to think and do things more “out of the box”. I love what you make, I love learning new things and being introduced to designers and artists I didn’t know about before. Thanks!
Thank you for a super giveaway and a chance to win.
