Turn a pair of leather or cloth shoes into a wearable work of art!
Give new life to your favorite old pair of shoes by turning them into amazing piece of walkable art. Use textile paint, sharpies, and paint pens to create your own one-of-a-kind fancy footwear that will make your toes want to dance!
Class Length: 3 or 6 hour format
Skill level: All levels
Supply Fee: $15 includes paints, brushes, paint pens
Supply List:
- Pair of leather or cloth shoes, thoroughly cleaned (leather shoes should also be well rubbed down with fingernail polish remover - 100% acetone preferred) Plastic or Patent (anything super shiny) will not work.
- Pencil, eraser, paper
- Sharpie
- Wear an apron or old clothes

Classroom Requirements:
Access to water - doesn't have to be in the room.
A volunteer will be asked to bring: paper towels, hair dryers, cups for water, paper plates for palettes, and masking tape.
