Two photos takes from the air – they translate to lovely abstracts don’t they?
If I’m remembering correctly, I ran the original photos through the Snapseed App first to really boost the contrast and color saturation.

September 2, 2014 at 1:26 pmthank you for sharing. Question.. when I was first playing with it, I thought you had to take the photos in that app. can you pull the photos from other locations. I love the watercolor effect.. am making gift/ thank you cards from them.. Yes, too much fun.

September 2, 2014 at 4:26 pmyes, you can choose a photo from your the library on your device by touching the camera icon then choosing “photo library”. Enjoy!

I tweeted my results and several others have now downloaded it as well. It’s the best watercolor effect I’ve seen on an app yet. And I can definitely see application to art quilting and hand-dyeing/painting. Perfect way for me to work with my photos and turn them into a quilt design!
